Social Enterprise

At Southern Oregon Aspire we are continually looking for innovate ways to fund the services we provide to the individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that help augment the state funding and donations that we receive, while still providing opportunities to teach job skills and abilities to those we support.

Through our vocational services we offer both janitorial and landscaping services to many commercial accounts in the local area. Both of these services consist of teams that are comprised of our supported individuals along with a skills trainer as the team leader. Not only are we are able to teach valuable employment skills to those we support, we can do this while also contributing to the bottom line.

We provide high-quality, commercial janitorial services tailored to meet the individual and specific needs of each customer.  Southern Oregon Aspire janitorial crews work seven days a week to deliver full and superior custodial services, taking pride in performing excellent work with each and every job.

We tailor our contracts to meet your specific requirements and will complete the job at the time that best meets your needs. Our janitorial teams currently service many contracts as well as our own administrative offices.  Individuals are taught the importance of arriving on time for work, working together as a team and providing a valuable service to those businesses who have contracted with us for their cleaning service.

Our Landscape Maintenance Division has operated for many years and has distinguished itself for not only its quality landscape maintenance to customers throughout Southern Oregon, but has provided stable, high quality, employment opportunities for citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We not only take care of some of the local parks, but also the city offices and many local small businesses around town. Supported individuals are taught how to run landscaping equipment, the importance of a job well done and the importance of maintaining a positive presence in the community. We take pride in the work we do and it shows.

Our electronics recycling program is an important venture for so many reasons. Not only is it good for the environment, but it enables us to supply our retail Computer Store. The Computer Store has numerous parts and accessories, computers, laptops, projectors, etc. at extremely affordable prices. Before ordering new, stop into The Computer Store and have a look, you may find just what you need at a fraction of the price. Although our inventory is used, it is still quite functional as we receive the majority of our inventory from colleges, schools, city offices, and businesses that are upgrading their systems and want to pass along valuable equipment rather than disposing of it or dealing with the sale of it. Inventory changes quite quickly due to the affordable pricing.

We are continually searching out new and creative ways that we can add to our social enterprises while still furthering our mission. Keep an eye out for Southern Oregon Aspire and new possibilities.
