Your professional background: Over 20 years of recycling-company management. Eight years of U.S. Navy Seabee service. Retail store management for three years.
How has working at Aspire impacted your life: Person-centered culture has made me appreciate diversity more and enjoy the individual skill-sets that others bring to the table.
Best facet of working at Aspire: Supported individuals and their positive outlook each day! Seeing my teammates succeed and being involved in their success!
What brought you to Aspire: I was familiar with the organization and some of the teammates beforehand so when I was looking for a professional change, I was fortunate that this organization valued my skill-set.
A few thoughts on encouraging others to become involved with Aspire, in any way, shape or form: Positive supported people despite everyday challenges make you want to rise to the occasion and be a better person.
What things you would like to see transpire in the future of Aspire and the people we support: More positive experiences within the community (personal and professional).
