Southern Oregon Aspire holds the contract with the State of Oregon for electronics recycling.  A certificate of destruction for hard drives can be given upon request.
Southern Oregon Aspire employs people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to do the de-manufacturing/e-cycling of these electronics.

Did you know a law took effect Jan. 1, 2010 in Oregon that states it is now illegal to dispose of computers, laptops, monitors or TVs in Oregon in the garbage or at disposal sites such as landfills, transfer stations and incinerators.  However, Southern Oregon Aspire has the facility and the people to take these used electronics and properly e-cycle them.

Computers (Desktop or Laptop)
Flat panel monitors
Computer mice
Cell phones
Fax machines
Ink and Toner
Surge protectors
Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPC)
Stereo Equipment
All electronics and accessories

What electronics DO WE NOT TAKE?
Large CRT computer monitors
Anything that contains freon

Donations are accepted Monday through Friday, 9 am to 3 pm at 1990 NW Washington Blvd.  Look for the red door on the Morgan Lane side of the building.  For more information please contact us at 541-476-8241 and ask for the Electronic Recycling Department.
